The need for amphibious travel has been recognized since the earliest times. VIKING represents a new generation of vehicle that successfully combines adaptation for land and water travel.
Most historical attempts to produce fast, efficient and safe amphibians have produced vehicles that could not compete with singular-purpose vehicles on either land or water.
Through years of experience and development, we have created VIKING with a light, low displacement body and high efficiency water jet propulsion, enabling speeds of up to 15 km/h in water.
Flotation is achieved not only through wheel buoyancy, but also with the aid of a displacement tank to give exceptionally low draft, reducing hydrodynamic resistance and, consequently, a high speed and maneuverability in water without high power consumption.
